12 Weeks

ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks North America (AMTBNA) manufactures laser‑welded tailored steel blanks that combine different grades, thicknesses, and coatings into optimized sheets—improving crash safety, reducing weight, and streamlining assembly for high‑performance automotive programs.

This project established a dedicated, B2B‑ready web presence distinct from the parent corporate site.

Project Highlights
  • Stand‑alone site strategy — clearly differentiated from the corporate parent to tell the Tailored Blanks story end‑to‑end.

  • Sitemap & IA — applications, resources, and contact routes organized for engineering and procurement audiences.

  • Modern CMS build — WordPress/Webflow implementation with reusable templates and editing guardrails.

  • Accessibility & performance — WCAG‑informed components, mobile‑first layouts, speed optimization, and QA.

  • On‑page SEO & analytics — metadata, headings, internal links, XML sitemap, GA4/Search Console instrumentation.

  • Resource center — structure for downloadable reports, proofs, and awards/recognition.

  • Bilingual readiness — translation widget (Spanish) to support multi‑market communication.

  • Team enablement — unlimited design revisions pre‑build, training videos + live workshop, and governance checklist.
  • Post‑launch support — 30‑day stabilization window with fixes, tuning, and handover assistance.
Challenges

AMTBNA’s (ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks North America) value proposition was previously nested within the broader corporate ecosystem, diluting clarity for technical buyers. The division needed a focused destination that: explains tailored blanks in plain language, surfaces proofs and applications quickly, meets accessibility standards, supports bilingual communication, and gives internal teams day‑to‑day control without developer dependence.

Our Approach

We ran discovery and competitor/UX research to define buyer jobs‑to‑be‑done, then produced a simplified sitemap and page models aligned to engineering and procurement tasks. A component‑driven web design system paired with focused UI/UX patterns improved wayfinding and readability. We built on a modern CMS (WordPress/Webflow), wired clear RFQ/contact paths, implemented on‑page SEO, and instrumented analytics. Before launch, we completed accessibility checks, performance tuning, and a training program videos plus a live session so AMTBNA could publish confidently from day one.

Final Outcome & Why Brand Vision

The new site positions AMTBNA (ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks North America) a credible, easy‑to‑engage partner for advanced automotive programs: faster pages, clearer application stories, streamlined B2B contact, and a maintainable CMS. Brand Vision was the right fit because we pair enterprise‑grade craft with enablement combining web design, UI/UX, pragmatic SEO, accessibility, and training to deliver a sustainable system, not just a launch.

  • Website traffic up +185 % (Google Analytics, first 3 months post-launch)
  • Average session duration increased from 0:32 to 2:05 (+293 %, GA4)
  • Navigation to product and technology pages up +58 % (Heatmaps & engagement tracking)
