FHN Financial is a U.S. institutional investment firm serving banks, corporations, and public entities.

We translated that standard of rigor into a clear, accessible, and secure digital platform so institutional users can find what they need quickly and with confidence.

Project Highlights
  • Custom coded Squidex build with structured content and fast, reliable delivery across devices. Built with enterprise discipline from our web design practice.
  • Information architecture overhaul with role based, task based navigation that mirrors institutional journeys and reduces steps to core resources. Guided by our UI/UX approach.
  • Design system with reusable components, patterns, and typography rules for consistent reading and scannability.
  • Conversion paths using persistent, unobtrusive CTAs for inquiries and other high intent requests.
  • On page SEO with semantic markup, an internal link spine, and GA4 and Search Console wiring. See our SEO.
  • Accessibility and performance tuned with WCAG aligned color and type, keyboard navigation, and LCP budgets to protect speed.
  • Content governance using Squidex models, permissions, and editor guides so publishing is structured and predictable.
  • Security posture with strong encryption, hardened headers, monitored updates, and regular backups.
  • Launch and stabilization including full QA, analytics verification, and a focused post launch support window.
Challenges

Legacy navigation and content sprawl made it hard for different institutional audiences to locate products, research, and compliance information. Page speed and accessibility were inconsistent, and publishing often required developer help. The mandate was to simplify journeys, meet accessibility expectations, improve performance, and give editors a clear, governed process.

  • Webflow build — modern, secure, and fast; responsive, mobile‑first execution.

  • Sitemap & IA strategy — services and industries reorganized around task‑based user journeys.

  • Modular CMS & component library — reusable templates for Services, Industries, and Insights (no developer lift for routine publishing).

  • Conversion paths — embedded RFQ/Contact routes on high‑intent pages with persistent, unobtrusive CTAs.

  • On‑page SEO — clean metadata, headings, internal linking spine, and structured data; GA4/Search Console wired.

  • Accessibility & performance — WCAG‑informed color/type, keyboard navigation, lazy‑loading, and asset minimization.

  • Content support — technical copy editing to maintain precision while improving scannability and search intent match.

  • CMS operations workshop — step‑by‑step training videos + live session; governance checklist for a sustainable cadence.

Launch & stabilization — full QA, analytics verification, and 30‑day post‑launch support.

Our Approach

We mapped jobs to be done for institutional users, restructured the sitemap around task flows, and built a lean component library. Content was modeled in Squidex for reuse and control. We implemented semantic search basics, set performance budgets, applied accessibility patterns, and instrumented analytics for ongoing measurement. Security hardening and documentation closed the loop. When priorities needed tradeoffs, we supported decisions through targeted marketing consultation.

Final Outcome & Why Brand Vision

The new platform delivers faster pages, clearer routes to institutional materials, stronger accessibility, and a governed CMS editors can trust. Brand Vision aligned IA and UX with secure development and measured SEO so internal teams can make timely updates while maintaining accuracy, speed, and compliance.

  • Navigation efficiency up +42 %
  • Accessibility compliance achieved WCAG AA across all pages
  • Page load time reduced to 1.8 s mobile (p75 LCP)
  • Average session duration up +27 %
