Challenges
The previous site buried proof of scale and coordination depth, making it hard for estimators and GCs to find relevant projects or services. Ocean Park Mechanical needed to distinguish its mechanical scope from broader GC narratives, highlight systems expertise, and streamline the RFQ process, while ensuring the new platform remained fast, accessible, and easy to maintain.
Approach
We mapped jobs-to-be-done for GCs, developers, and consultants, then restructured the information architecture around services, regions, and project typologies. A component-driven design system ensured consistency, while focused UI/UX patterns improved wayfinding and trust signals around safety, coordination, and scheduling. We implemented pragmatic SEO, integrated analytics, and defined clear RFQ and contact routes. Finally, training, documentation, and governance tools allow the team to publish confidently without relying on day-to-day developer support.
