Billie Eilish has ended 2024 on a massive high, with her track “Birds of a Feather” officially becoming Spotify’s most-streamed song of the year. Initially in third place on the platform’s Wrapped stats, it skyrocketed past two major hits—Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things”—to land at number one, surpassing 1.78 billion streams at last count.
The powerhouse ballad comes from Eilish’s third album, which also saw “Birds of a Feather” peak at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the midst of her bustling tour schedule, she even found time to roll out a spectral music video and perform the track on “Saturday Night Live” this fall.
After wrapping the North American leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour on Dec. 21, Eilish is set to bring the show to Australia in February before hopping over to Europe in April. With her momentum still at full tilt, fans can look forward to more record-breaking moves in the months ahead. Don’t blink.
