Beyoncé has shattered records once again, this time in country music. Her Cowboy Carter tour, which wrapped up on July 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, officially became the highest-grossing country tour of all time, raking in over $400 million across just 32 dates. That makes it not only the biggest country tour ever, but also the shortest tour in any genre to cross the $400M mark, according to Live Nation and Billboard.
The final show featured surprise appearances from Destiny’s Child, Jay-Z, and rising star Shaboozey, making the moment even more iconic. With over 1.5 million attendees and stops across the U.S. and Europe, the tour marked the grand finale of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter era — a genre-bending, fashion-forward celebration of Black country, R&B, and cultural commentary.
With this achievement, Beyoncé extends her titles as the highest-grossing Black artist and highest-grossing R&B artist of all time. She’s now also the first woman and first American act to have two tours surpass $400 million, joining the ranks of Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and The Rolling Stones. Her Renaissance World Tour grossed $580 million in 2023.
The Cowboy Carter album, released in March 2024, helped lead the charge by spotlighting country legends and emerging Black country artists alike, redefining what country music can sound and look like in the modern era.
