Chris Stapleton dominated the night with four wins, including Song of the Year and Single of the Year for White Horse. George Strait, known as the "King of Country," was honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Lainey Wilson, who co-hosted with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, won two awards and opened a tribute to Strait with a performance of his classic, Amarillo by Morning.
Cody Johnson surprised many by winning Album of the Year for Leather, while Brooks & Dunn claimed their 15th Vocal Duo of the Year award—their first since 2006. Megan Moroney was named Best New Artist, beating Shaboozey who many were expecting a win from. The night featured notable collaborations, including Jelly Roll teaming up with Keith Urban and Brooks & Dunn. Performances showcased the genre’s diversity, blending traditional and modern influences. Shaboozey pefromed his hit " A Bar Song (Tipsy.)"
Morgan Wallen, despite leading nominations with seven, including for his Post Malone collaboration I Had Some Help, won one major prize—Entertainer of the Year. The awards, voted on by members of the Country Music Association, highlighted the evolving landscape of country music while honoring its roots.
