The Collaboration
Popeyes has officially partnered with the viral interview series Hot Ones to launch a fiery limited-time menu across North America. The collaboration takes Popeyes’ Louisiana-style chicken and infuses it with Hot Ones’ cult-favorite sauces, offering fans a chance to climb the heat ladder outside of the YouTube set.
The menu rollout coincides with a Hot Ones reunion episode starring Keke Palmer, marking the first time a quick-service wing from a national chain appears on the series.
Menu Highlights
In Canada
- Smokin’ Rojo Sandwich (Medium Heat): A crispy chicken fillet topped with Los Calientes Rojo sauce and tangy pickles on a toasted brioche bun.
- Darin’ Dab Ghost Wings (Hot Heat): Bone-in wings dusted in ghost pepper dry rub, paired with a Last Dab Ranch dip cup.
Both items are available in-store, online, and in the Popeyes app while supplies last.

Why It Matters
The Popeyes x Hot Ones collaboration reflects a growing trend of fast-food chains aligning with viral food media to stand out in a competitive market. Popeyes has leaned into variety this year, launching permanent wings, new sauces, and crossovers that push beyond traditional fried chicken.
Bart LaCount, Popeyes’ Chief Marketing Officer, said the collaboration was about “bold flavor experiences” and a cultural moment. Hot Ones host Sean Evans added, “Bringing our worlds together for this limited-time menu is going to test spice lovers in the most delicious way possible.”
The Outlook
The Popeyes x Hot Ones menu is available for a limited time in both the U.S. and Canada while supplies last. With dedicated promotions, celebrity tie-ins, and Hot Ones’ global audience, the collaboration is poised to be one of Popeyes’ most talked-about launches of 2025.
