LeBron James is taking a break from social media. He shared a post criticizing negativity in NBA coverage and announced he’s logging off to stay focused. James has done this before, often during the playoffs, to keep his mind on basketball.
The Lakers are off to a strong start. James, nearly 40, is averaging 23.5 points, 9.4 assists, and 8.1 rebounds. The team is 10-4, with Anthony Davis playing at an MVP level and rookie Dalton Knecht making big contributions.
With six wins in a row, the Lakers are looking like championship contenders. James’ break could help him stay sharp as the team prepares for their next game against the Orlando Magic.
