Botpress has raised $25 million in Series B financing led by FRAMEWORK Venture Partners, giving the Montréal-based company fresh ammunition to turn its cloud platform for building and running AI agents into a global staple. CEO Sylvain Perron says traditional software “will be eaten by autonomous agents,” but only if companies can launch them safely at scale—something Botpress claims to deliver for thousands of teams in customer support, fintech, IT services and beyond.
The funding will beef up engineering and go-to-market headcount while adding round-the-clock customer support. FRAMEWORK partner Jim Texier calls the product “an end-to-end agentic AI platform built for production,” noting that it bundles planning, reasoning, deployment and monitoring under one roof. Since its 2023 cloud debut, Botpress has watched quarterly production rollouts climb as enterprises graduate from chatbot prototypes to revenue-generating agents.
Perron says the new capital simply “keeps scaling what already works,” but the timing is strategic: as industry heavyweights like Uber and Thomson Reuters unveil their own agentic stacks, demand for behind-the-scenes infrastructure is exploding. For developers eager to move beyond demo-stage bots, Botpress is positioning itself as the plug-and-play backbone that lets intelligent agents talk to customers—and each other—without the usual integration migraines.
