Apple has unveiled its largest-ever domestic investment, pledging $600 billion over the next four years to expand U.S. manufacturing through the new American Manufacturing Program (AMP). The initiative will strengthen Apple’s supply chain, create 450,000+ jobs, and partner with more than 10 top-tier U.S. tech companies including Corning, Broadcom, and Texas Instruments.
As part of the AMP rollout, Apple is doubling down on domestic chip production by partnering with GlobalWafers America, TSMC, and Applied Materials. The goal: build an end-to-end American silicon supply chain capable of producing over 19 billion chips in 2025, with new facilities rising in Arizona, Texas, Kentucky, and Utah.
Beyond semiconductors, Apple is investing in server infrastructure, AI, and rare earth magnet recycling to power its next-gen products and services. New expansions in Houston, North Carolina, and Austin show Apple’s bet on U.S.-based innovation as the backbone of its global tech leadership.
