Taylor Swift is set to bring her album release experience to the big screen. On Oct. 3, the same day her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl drops, fans can attend “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” in theaters across North America and over 100 countries. The limited run, playing through Oct. 5, transforms her famed “secret sessions” into a mass fan celebration.
The program promises the debut of the “Fate of Ophelia” music video, behind-the-scenes looks, and personal reflections from Swift about each track. Fans will also see lyric videos and exclusive footage tied to the album’s creation. Unlike traditional cinema outings, attendees are encouraged to sing and dance during the event, with no trailers or ads preceding the show.
Tickets are now available online, with AMC and other chains hosting synchronized screenings across time zones. International fans in countries including Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, and more will also get access to the experience, with later October dates set for additional markets.
