Country singer Megan Moroney will play a free concert at the Georgia Theater tomorrow, November 15, the night before the Georgia-Tennessee football game. Spotify is hosting the event, and tickets go first to Georgia and Tennessee students, plus Moroney’s biggest Spotify fans. Georgia musicians Lily Rose and Mackenzie Carpenter will join her.
Moroney’s song “Tennessee Orange” has become a fan favorite. It’s about her wearing Tennessee colors for someone she likes, even though she's a Georgia fan. The song has sparked fun rumors, including a possible connection to fellow country star Morgan Wallen.
This concert is extra special for Moroney because she first played the Georgia Theater back in 2017. This year, she’s been on tour and even opened for Kenny Chesney, making her return to this stage feel like a true homecoming.
