Girl Scouts to Discontinue Two Beloved Cookie Flavors in 2025

Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) has announced that two fan-favorite cookie varieties—S’mores and Toast-Yay!—will be retired after the 2025 season, marking the first time the organization has given buyers advance notice. Introduced in 2017 and 2021 respectively, both flavors can still be purchased this year while supplies last, either at in-person cookie booths or through online platforms like Digital Cookie. The news follows the recent discontinuation of Raspberry Rally, which saw a surge in resale activity after selling out quickly in 2023.
With the 2025 Girl Scout Cookie season now underway, fans can still enjoy a full lineup of classics, including Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites, and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs. The season typically runs from January to April, though timing varies by council. Cookie prices range from $5 to $7 depending on location, and proceeds go directly to local troops. While GSUSA has yet to announce any replacement flavors, cookie enthusiasts are encouraged to savor S’mores and Toast-Yay! before they vanish into the vault.
