Distillery Winter Village Returns to Toronto for 2024 Holiday Season

The Distillery Winter Village, formerly known as the Toronto Christmas Market, is set to return to Toronto's Distillery District from November 13, 2024, to January 5, 2025. This annual event transforms the historic area into a festive wonderland, featuring holiday vendors, seasonal food and drinks, live entertainment, and a 55-foot-tall silver fir Christmas tree designed by Christian Dior Parfums.

Visitors can explore over 85 local retailers and artisans, offering a variety of unique gifts and crafts. Culinary delights include Japanese tacos, schnitzel, grilled cheese, and churros, alongside festive beverages like mulled wine and hot sangria.

New attractions this year include the Distillery Aurora Borealis experience, featuring light projections over snow-topped landscapes, and glittering Ice Archways along Tank House, Case Goods, and Gristmill Lanes. Additionally, a 10-foot Giant Wreath will be displayed outside Madrina.

The event is free to attend Monday through Wednesday until December 16, and daily before 4 p.m. Tickets are required after 4 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday, and every day from December 12 to 31, with general admission priced at $15.

The grand opening and official trey will take place on November 13 at 6 p.m. The event also features strolling carolers, a Swiftie Holiday Hunt with chances to win friendship bracelets, and Taylor Swift-themed cookies, coinciding with her concert dates in the city.

The Distillery Winter Village, a festive holiday event in Toronto's Distillery District, has become a well-loved and integral part of the city’s holiday celebrations. Each year, it attracts over 800,000 visitors, making it a significant and popular tradition during the holiday season.
