To commemorate their six decades of operation, Tim Hortons is collaborating with Adidas for a special giveaway. Since May 17th, 2024, marks their milestone anniversary, this year is particularly significant.

Starting June 3rd and leading up to National Donut Day on Friday, June 7th, a national contest will give fans a chance to win one of four exclusive pairs of Adidas Sambas. These unique sneakers won't be available for purchase and can only be won through this exciting contest.

Tim Hortons and Adidas have joined forces to create a unique collection of donut-inspired Adidas Samba sneakers. This delicious collaboration features four designs inspired by iconic donuts beloved by Canadians: Boston Cream, Honey Cruller, Vanilla Dip, and Double Chocolate. Crafted by renowned Canadian sneaker customizer Jack Nguyen, each sneaker in the collection showcases a vibrant colorway that pays homage to these classic Tim Hortons treats.

Boston Cream

The three colours of a Tim's Boston Cream donut are reflected in this multicoloured design: the donut is represented by tan suede, the chocolate fondant by a brown outline, and the cream center is represented by the cream colour of the shoe's tongue and lining.

Honey Cruller

In order to mirror the contours and textures of the Honey Cruller, pleating details on the tongue serve to highlight the honey tones of this pair.

Vanilla Dip

Sprinkles from the iconic donut add a pop of colour to tanned suede and white leather, which resemble the donut and fondant on the Vanilla Dip.

Double Chocolate

To mimic the donut and fondant icing of the Double Chocolate, two tones of dark brown suede are combined.

Why Adidas Samba's?

The Samba OG is a classic sneaker that mirrors the evolution of Adidas, much like the beloved four staple donuts cherished by Canadians. Originally designed in the 1950s as an indoor football trainer, the Sambas have evolved into a wardrobe essential. Their low-profile silhouette, gum sole, and premium materials provide a timeless look, perfect for complementing any outfit. As Kelly Graham, VP of Marketing at Adidas Canada, states, "Tim Hortons 60th anniversary represents an incredible milestone for an iconic Canadian brand, and this collaboration with the adidas Samba - a classic and iconic silhouette that's so loved by Canadians - is a fun and special way to mark the occasion."

What else should you be on the lookout for this month?

Along with the June contest, Tim's is reintroducing Happy Hour. Between 2 and 8 p.m., grab a Medium Flavoured Cold Brew or Iced Latte, which can be flavoured or original, for $3 plus taxes until June 23.
